MEETING AGENDA

Buildings & Utilities Committee: (Allen [Chm.], Terwilliger, Twiss)
  1. Provide a recommendation to Council regarding authorizing the Troy Recreation Board to advertise for bids and enter into a contract for the replacement of the lower east side roof of the Hobart Arena at a cost not to exceed $120,000.
  2. Provide a recommendation to Council regarding authorizing the Director of Public Service and Safety to advertise for bids and enter into a contract for the demolition of City-owned properties at 110 E. Canal Street and 212 S. Mulberry Street at a cost not to exceed $350,000.   
  3. Provide a recommendation to Council regarding authorizing the Director of Public Service and Safety to enter into a professional services agreement with the firm of Hazen & Sawyer for the design of the Blower Replacement Project at the Wastewater Treatment Plant at a cost not to exceed $222,000.
Community & Economic Development Committee: (Snee [Chm.], Rozell, Twiss)

  1. Provide a recommendation to Council regarding authorizing the Director of Public Service and Safety to make applications for CDBG Funding:
$150,000 of PY 2020 CDBG
$500,000 of CDBG Critical Infrastructure Funds for the Madison Street Lift Station Repair Project.

Consideration of emergency legislation is requested due to the CDBG application deadline of June 17.

Community Partnerships Committee: (Rozell [Chm.], Allen, Schweser)
  1. Provide a recommendation to Council regarding authorizing amending the lease between the City of Troy and the Community Improvement Project related to the Lincoln Community Center property – to include in the lease the parcel Council authorized to be transferred from the Center to the City and amending certain maintenance provisions.   Consideration of emergency legislation is requested so the Lincoln Community Center expansion project proceeds on schedule.
