Payment Options

In Person

Our offices are located in the first floor lobby of the city building at 100 S. Market Street and our hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. You may pay with cash, check, money order or cashier’s check. 

Customers presenting more than 3 bad checks will be suspended from further paying by check. For payments after hours, there is a drop box in the vestibule at the S. Market Street entrance to the building. There are payment envelopes available by the box. We ask that you not put cash in the drop box.
 

By Mail

Check, money order or cashier’s check should be made payable to “The City of Troy” and mailed to: 

City of Troy Income Tax, 100 S. Market St., Troy, OH 45373   Please do not send cash in the mail.  


Credit & Debit Cards 

The City of Troy can accept credit & debit card payments for current or prior year tax balances and estimated tax payments.  Businesses may also pay withholding taxes.  We accept MasterCard, Visa or Discover Card through a secure payment gateway.  A convenience fee of $2.75 will be assessed for each credit card transaction up to $100. Transactions over $100 will pay 2.75% for each credit card transaction. The fee is not retained by the City of Troy, but is charged by our third-party provider to process the transactions.
