Law & Ordinance Committee (Snee [Chm.], Phillips, Severt)
- Provide a recommendation to Council regarding establishing a moratorium on issuing of parking fines for certain time limit violations in the downtown historic district for the months of October, November and December 2023. Consideration of emergency legislation is requested so that a moratorium could commence October 1.
Recreation & Parks Committee (Whidden [Chm.], Rozell, Schilling)
- Provide a recommendation to Council regarding authorizing the Director of Public Service and Safety to submit a grant application for Federal IIJA Funds through the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission for the Troy Downtown Riverfront Recreational Trail Project and to execute any related documents. Based on the application deadline of October 11, consideration of emergency legislation is requested.
Streets & Sidewalks Committee (Phillips [Chm.], Pierce, Snee)
- Provide a recommendation to Council regarding authorizing the Director of Public Service and Safety to submit a grant application for Federal IIJA Funds through the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission for the West Main Street & Experiment Farm Road/Stanfield Road Intersection Improvement Project and to execute any related documents. Based on the application deadline of October 11, consideration of emergency legislation is requested.
