The City of Troy has again contracted with JB Lawn and Landscaping for the operation of the City-owned Dye Mill Road Compost Facility. The contractor will re-open the facility March 1, 2021 with the following hours of operation:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday and Sunday: Closed
The last day of operation for 2021 will be November 27, 2021. The facility will close on Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
The Dye Mill Road Compost Facility is available for the use to all City of Troy residents. The facility accepts compost materials including grass, brush, leaves, and garden refuse (excluding fruit) and clean “hard fill” materials such as rocks, bricks, and concrete. To use the facility, Troy residents must provide proof of residency.
