Improvements to the intersection of West Main Street and Experiment Farm Road are currently the subject of a ODOT feasibility study.

Background:
- Presentation to Council Committee of the Whole (PDF) (September 2023). The City Council Committee of the Whole discussed a traffic study pertaining to the West Main Street / Experiment Farm intersection, including a proposal for a roundabout at that intersection.
- City Council Work Session (PDF) (June 2026). City Council held a work session and sought public input on the proposed roundabout. American Structurepoint presented a feasibility study, authorized by City Council in 2025, which identifies alternative plans for the intersection. A video of that meeting is available here.
- Public Meeting (Video) (November 4, 2026). City staff and American Structurepoint heard public comments and answered questions about the proposed roundabout.
