At the February 17 City Council meeting, Mayor Robin Oda announced the winner of the “Look Who Is Recycling” for the final quarter of 2025. Rumpke of Ohio, Inc., the city’s curbside recycling contractor, runs the program as a tool to encourage residential recycling. Awards are given quarterly to City of Troy residents who actively recycle and share their reasons for doing so.

This quarter’s winner is Kim Hoover of McKaig Drive, along with her family.  In her answers to Rumpke’s survey, she wrote, “We recycle as many items as possible and this has reduced the amount of trash we have. We have a small bin in our kitchen and empty it into the recycling daily.”
