The City of Troy’s public water system has successfully passed its most recent Ohio EPA sanitary survey, conducted on September 25. State inspectors reviewed all major areas of operation—from water sources and treatment to distribution, storage, and monitoring—and found no violations or areas of concern.
This inspection confirms that Troy’s water system continues to meet all state standards for providing safe, reliable, and high-quality drinking water to our community.
Troy's letter from the EPA stated, "Troy City water staff are commended for their dedication and hard work to maintain water service and ensure potable water for all residents and satellite customers of the City of Troy."
Water Treatment Plant Superintendent Gary Evans, Ralph Walters, and Steven Suerdick all participated in the state EPA's interviews and inspections. Our entire Water Treatment Plant team provides outstanding commitment to the health and safety of our community every day!
