[ARCHIVED] Road Closings for Tour De Donut and Rock The Bike Music Festival

To facilitate the set up, tear down, and events of the Tour De Donut and the Rock the Bike Music Festival on September 15 and 16, the City advises of the following closings:

Friday, September 15, 2017
7:00 AM    SE Quadrant of the Public Square is closed
                  N. Cherry Street Parking Lot (City metered area only)

Noon         The Public Square is closed to include:
                  Market Street from Water Street to Canal Street
                  Main Street from Mulberry Street to Plum Street
                   N. Cherry Street from W. Main Street to alley behind Mayflower Arts Center
                   S. Cherry Street from alley next to parking lot to W. Main Street
                   N. Walnut Street from E. Main Street to Redman’s
                    S. Walnut Street from E. Main Street to alley (back of Troy Cabinet)
                    Parking Lot adjacent to REC

Saturday, September 16, 2017 (additional closings)
7:00 AM       S. Cherry St. parking lot
                     S. Cherry St. from Franklin St. to W. Main St..
                     N. Cherry St. from Mayflower Alley to W. Water St.
                     N. Walnut St. from Redman’s to E. Water St.
                     S. Walnut St. from Troy Cabinet to E. Franklin St.
                     S. Plum St. side from W. Main St. to Parking lot
                     W. Main St. by Courthouse -  4 spaces W. of yellow curb (shuttle bus stop)
                     N. Walnut, West side from Redman’s to E. Main St.
                     W. Main St. from Sheriff’s Office Parking to shuttle bus stop

Also, starting at 7:00 AM on September 16 , N. Market  Street will be closed from the Public Square to Staunton Road and  Water Street will be closed from N. Oxford Street to Mulberry Street.  At the conclusion of the Tour De Donut ride, approximately 1:00 PM, North Market Street will be opened from Water Street to Staunton Road, and Water Street will be opened.

All other roadways are to be opened by approximately midnight on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

The cooperation of citizens will be appreciated.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and enjoy  both the Rock the Bike Music Festival (September 15 and16). Additional information may be found at thetourdedonut.com and troymainstreet.org.     A map is available on the City’s website www.troyohio.gov.
