The Grand Illumination, hosted by Troy Main Street, will take place in downtown Troy on November 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The tree lighting will take place at approximately 7:00 p.m. 

The following street closures will be in place to accommodate this event on Friday, November 28:

• The southwest quadrant of the Public Square will be closed to traffic from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
• From 4:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m., the following closures will be in place:
  1. The entire Public Square will be closed. 
  2. Main Street will be closed from Cherry to Mulberry Street. 
  3. Market Street will be closed from Water Street to Franklin Street.
  4. Walnut Street will be closed from the northernmost public parking lot entrance to Water Street. The public parking lot will be accessible.
• South Cherry Street will be briefly closed from Franklin to West Main Street to accommodate Santa’s arrival, from approximately 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.
